About the Role

You will implement a strategic asset management plan that integrates building automation, energy‑management and maintenance programs. This includes acquiring and analyzing data from connected systems, conducting reliability analyses, performing root‑cause failure investigations, and developing cost‑effective corrective actions. • Implement strategic asset management plans integrating building automation, energy management, and maintenance programs. • Conduct reliability analyses, root‑cause failure investigations, and develop corrective action plans. • Rank asset criticality using Reliability Centered Maintenance and define cost‑beneficial proactive maintenance strategies. • Create and manage preventative maintenance tasks; optimize condition‑based maintenance programs. • Perform life‑cycle analyses to recommend repair versus replacement decisions. • Lead audits focused on safety, regulatory compliance, maintenance effectiveness, cost savings, and energy conservation. • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and third‑party resources to drive cost‑effective reliability improvements. • Develop and monitor key performance indicators for equipment reliability (MTBF, unplanned work, cost metrics, etc.). • Utilize predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration analysis, oil analysis, infrared thermography, ultrasound, and motor current analysis. • Maintain accurate CMMS records including equipment specifications, BOM, and failure history. • Provide risk mitigation strategies and support capital planning for asset renewal.

What You Bring

JLL is seeking a Reliability Engineer to join the Work Dynamics team. In this role you will support operations and maintenance of building, infrastructure and equipment assets, acting as a technical subject‑matter expert and pursuing external qualifications to become globally recognized in reliability and asset management. The position requires a BS in an engineering discipline (mechanical or electrical preferred) and five to ten years of experience with reliability‑centered maintenance, condition‑based/predictive maintenance, building automation, and data analytics. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire‑suppression systems and experience in critical environments such as data centers or laboratories is essential. Preferred certifications include Certified Reliability Leader, Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional, and Level 2 thermography, vibration or ultrasound certifications. The role is remote‑based in London, and JLL encourages candidates to apply even if they do not meet every requirement. • Required: BS in engineering (mechanical/electrical preferred), 5‑10 years implementing RCM/CbM, experience with building automation and data analytics. • Preferred certifications: Certified Reliability Leader, Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional, Level 2 thermography, vibration, and ultrasound.
