About the Role
The Driver/Operator safely operates a heavy‑duty truck on transfer routes to complete assigned duties. This role requires adherence to OSHA, DOT, and all local, state, and federal regulations while maintaining a clean and safe vehicle. Drivers perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, report unsafe conditions, and cooperate with training and briefings. They work with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency, assist fellow drivers, and communicate customer requests. At each stop, drivers dump containers, leave the site clean, position containers correctly, and complete all required paperwork before ending the route. • Operate heavy‑duty truck in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all applicable regulations. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report. • Immediately report unsafe situations, incidents, accidents, or property damage to Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Participate in all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings. • Collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency and address problem accounts. • Assist other company drivers as directed and respond to customer requests promptly. • Dump containers, clean the site, and position containers upright with lids secured to avoid obstructing driveways. • Complete and submit customer tickets and route documentation at the end of each shift.

What You Bring
No formal education or prior experience is required, but a Commercial Driver’s License (Class B) is mandatory, and applicants must be at least 18 years old. Candidates must pass a pre‑employment DOT drug screen, physical, background check, and have an acceptable driving record.
