About the Role
The Assistant Maintenance Supervisor supports the Maintenance Manager in ensuring property maintenance meets company standards and legal requirements. The role involves diagnosing problems and repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, appliances, and more, as well as scheduling, monitoring, performing maintenance, and responding to resident work order requests. The position also includes inspecting buildings and grounds for safety and cleanliness and coordinating with outside contractors, and requires weekend and holiday work. • Support Maintenance Manager to uphold property standards and legal compliance. • Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, and appliances. • Schedule, monitor, and perform preventative and corrective maintenance tasks. • Respond promptly to resident work order requests. • Inspect buildings and grounds for safety and cleanliness; coordinate with contractors.

What You Bring
Candidates should have a minimum of two years of apartment maintenance experience, a current driver’s license, proof of automobile insurance, and any other licenses required by state law. A high school diploma or equivalent, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a polite, professional approach are required. Strong leadership, organizational abilities, and excellent customer service skills are also essential. • Minimum two years apartment maintenance experience and relevant licenses. • Hold a valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and required state licenses. • Demonstrate strong leadership, organization, and customer service skills.
