About the Role

• Undertake and manage engineering designs and projects to provide high‑level technical service to clients • Determine client requirements and produce calculations, specifications, and drawings to meet expectations • Provide technical expertise in mechanical engineering to satisfy project needs • Collaborate with project and design managers to plan, coordinate, conduct peer reviews, and deliver outputs on budget, on time, and to quality standards • Lead proposal development, including value propositions, methodologies, fee estimates, and risk reviews • Organise and support tender document development, evaluate tenders and contracts • Supervise and mentor junior staff • Participation in the Developing Professionals Group to connect across Stantec

What You Bring

• Hold a tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) with CPEng or ability to obtain • Possess 4–8 years of mechanical/infrastructure engineering experience in detail and concept design • Demonstrate exceptional leadership, managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams • Have advanced knowledge of clean water and wastewater services and delivery environments • Exhibit strong problem‑solving and negotiation skills to resolve disputes • Understand D&C or alternative delivery projects and program models
