About the Role

The Senior Electrical Engineer leads the electrical design and engineering of complex commercial and institutional building projects, ensuring high‑quality systems that support energy efficiency, sustainability, and long‑term performance. The role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver impactful facility solutions. • Lead electrical design, engineering, and specification development for assigned projects. • Manage full engineering lifecycle from concept through completion, ensuring accuracy and compliance with scope and budgets. • Oversee and mentor engineers and designers; review and approve calculations, drawings, and deliverables. • Collaborate with project management, mechanical engineering, and construction teams to meet milestones and deliver coordinated designs. • Conduct site surveys, equipment assessments, and provide field support during construction phases. • Review drawings and specifications for adherence to client and code requirements. • Identify and implement design improvements that enhance efficiency, performance, and constructability. • Communicate project status, risks, and technical solutions to internal and external stakeholders. • Work on technically complex, high‑impact building projects across multiple markets.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required). • 7+ years of electrical design experience for commercial, institutional, or industrial facilities. • Experience with MEP building systems (power distribution, lighting, low‑voltage). • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (required). • Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam Revu, or similar tools (preferred). • PE license (preferred but not required). • Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills. • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 25 %.
