About the Role
The Modeler will work closely with the BIM Lead and Design Leads to ensure project compliance with policies and timely implementation. Key duties include developing engineering drawings and BIM models, managing BIM activities from start‑up to completion, reviewing drawings for quality, and coordinating with other disciplines. • Collaborate with BIM Lead and Design Leads to ensure project compliance and timely delivery. • Develop engineering drawings, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, and isometrics from sketches and design data. • Manage all BIM-related activities from project start‑up through completion. • Review drawings for readability, presentation, and adherence to QA/QC standards. • Create parametric and non‑parametric families while maintaining required LOD levels. • Conduct clash detection in Navisworks and generate detailed clash reports. • Extract scheduling data and quantities directly from BIM models.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a diploma or degree in civil engineering and have at least five years of CAD drafting experience on wet and dry utilities projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Autodesk Civil 3D, and ACC BIM workflows, along with solid knowledge of BIM processes and LOD requirements, is required. Preferred experience includes working in a Common Data Environment such as ProjectWise or BIM360 and using Navisworks for clash detection.
