About the Role
The assembler will fit together manufactured and purchased parts into subassemblies or complete products, which may be mechanical, electrical, or a combination of both. This role provides an opportunity to develop the skills needed to advance to the Advanced Assembler #1 classification. Daily duties include reading and interpreting blueprints and routings to produce parts to specification, performing first‑piece and subsequent inspections to ensure quality, and conducting routine maintenance while keeping the work area neat. The assembler must follow all machine‑operation and guarding rules and maintain simple reports on productivity, quality, and safety. • Interpret blueprints and routings to produce parts meeting specifications. • Perform first‑piece and ongoing inspections to ensure assembly quality. • Conduct routine equipment maintenance and maintain a clean work area. • Adhere to all machine operation and guarding safety protocols. • Log basic productivity, quality, and safety data. • Assemble manufactured and purchased parts using required tools. • Operate assembly equipment such as rivet machines, presses, and power tools.

What You Bring
Success in this role requires the ability to assemble parts using the necessary tools, proficiency with assembly equipment such as rivet machines, presses, and power tools, and sufficient physical stamina to stand, sit, bend, and lift up to 30 lb repeatedly.
