About the Role
• Deliver end‑to‑end, high‑impact software initiatives across multiple services. • Design and evolve scalable, reliable, and maintainable system architectures with engineering leaders. • Transform ambiguous requirements into clear technical solutions while balancing scope and quality. • Write high‑quality, maintainable Python code and lead code reviews for large‑scale distributed systems. • Ensure platform capabilities meet best practices for code quality, operational readiness, and lifecycle management. • Automate processes to simplify systems and reduce operational overhead. • Mentor engineers through design reviews, knowledge sharing, and incident response. • Lead root‑cause analysis and implement long‑term corrective actions for production incidents. • Build, deploy, and operate cloud services using AWS, containers, and infrastructure‑as‑code tools. • Apply software design patterns, event‑driven architectures, and CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments. • Utilize search and analytics platforms such as Elasticsearch/OpenSearch.

What You Bring
• Minimum qualifications: 8‑12 years software development experience, BS in CS or related, strong Python proficiency, HTTP/API design expertise, AWS cloud experience, exposure to AI/ML/NLP, production‑grade system delivery, distributed systems knowledge, containerization, and IaC familiarity. • Preferred qualifications: experience with asynchronous processing, Docker and orchestration, Terraform, CI/CD pipeline design, and observability platforms.
