About the Role
The role involves performing system commissioning using Johnson Controls tools, troubleshooting basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and control problems, and responding to warranty calls. Responsibilities include loading controller software, conducting diagnostics on system‑level controllers and end devices, calibrating systems, completing required documentation, and keeping management and customers informed of progress. • Perform system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration tools. • Troubleshoot basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and control issues. • Respond to basic warranty service calls. • Load system‑level controller software and run diagnostics on controllers and field devices. • Calibrate systems with basic electronic test equipment and complete commissioning documentation. • Maintain clear communication with management, contractors, and customers about job progress. • Follow all safety standards and attend required safety training.

What You Bring
Candidates must demonstrate technical aptitude, be proficient with hand tools, and possess strong computer skills and attention to detail. Effective communication, willingness to travel within the Kingston/Belleville region, and a valid driver’s license with a good driving record are required. Preferred qualifications include two years of experience installing electronic or mechanical systems and knowledge of HVAC systems. • Demonstrated technical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools. • Strong computer skills, attention to detail, and effective communication. • Willingness to travel within the Kingston/Belleville region; valid driver’s license required. • Preferred: 2 years experience installing electronic/mechanical systems and HVAC knowledge.
