About the Role

The role focuses on driving EXIM container volume growth, aiming to achieve or surpass a target of 1,000 TEUs per month. Success will be measured by identifying and securing new business opportunities across commodities, technology, e‑commerce, and retail sectors. In‑depth market research will be used to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitor strategies. Collaboration with operations, customer service, and finance teams ensures smooth client onboarding and service delivery, and accurate sales forecasting and performance reporting will be provided to senior management. Compliance with relevant laws and regulations, particularly in technology and consumer durable sectors, will be maintained. The role also includes mentoring team members and developing long‑term relationships with Beneficial Cargo Owner (BCO) clients. • Target new business in commodities, technology, e‑commerce, and retail. • Conduct market research on customer requirements, trends, and competitors. • Build sales pipeline via cold calls, networking, referrals, and events. • Deliver impactful presentations and tailored proposals. • Negotiate contracts and pricing to balance profit and client satisfaction. • Promote cross‑selling of additional logistics services. • Cultivate relationships with CXOs, SCM heads, and procurement leaders. • Coordinate with operations, customer service, and finance for onboarding. • Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to senior leadership. • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations in technology and consumer durables. • Identify and onboard Beneficial Cargo Owner (BCO) clients for long‑term growth. • Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team.
