About the Role
The Project Manager leads execution from purchase order through project completion, overseeing site activities, project reviews with customers, and ensuring compliance with EHS, schedule, quality, and cost commitments. They collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and site teams to drive change orders, manage project financials—including revenue recognition, cash flow, risk and opportunities, and profit margin—and maintain alignment with customer contracts and specifications. A risk register is identified and maintained, with proactive mitigation of potential issues. An electrical background is required, and knowledge of datacenter environments is a plus. The role identifies supplier needs, coordinates new supplier qualification with the supply chain, and ensures the competitiveness of solutions. It is responsible for controlling and supporting field operations concerning EHS, scope, schedule, and quality, with the Site Manager and Site Coordinator reporting functionally to the Project Manager. The manager may develop new initiatives and recommend improved work methods based on site analysis and broader customer trends. Site assignments may be required during installation and commissioning activities. The manager is expected to drive continuous improvement by analyzing site performance and recommending better practices. What You Bring
A bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in electrical engineering, is required, along with accredited Project Management qualifications focused on construction sites. The candidate should have a strong electrical engineering background, especially in design and installation of heavy‑duty power distribution, ideally within datacenters or similar critical systems. Minimum requirements include five years of construction site management experience and hands‑on work in data centers; experience with large, complex industrial projects, particularly in automation and controls, is also considered. Direct experience with electrical engineering, power management, power control, mission‑critical or building management and control systems is essential. Preference is given to candidates with deep knowledge of datacenter technologies. • Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering with accredited Project Management credentials • Possess at least 5 years of construction site management and hands‑on data‑center experience • Demonstrate expertise in heavy‑duty power distribution design and installation • Experience with automation, controls, and mission‑critical building management systems
