About the Role
The Shopfloor Operator is responsible for operating machinery, assembling and testing products, and ensuring smooth production processes on the shop floor. This role maintains quality standards, adheres to safety protocols, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. • Operate and monitor production machines and equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs). • Perform assembly, testing, packaging, and material handling tasks as required. • Inspect products for quality and report any defects or deviations. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with 5S principles. • Follow all safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE). • Record production data and maintain accurate documentation. • Assist in troubleshooting minor machine issues and escalate major problems to maintenance. • Support continuous improvement activities to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

What You Bring
To be successful in this role you will have a diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering, and a minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment. You should possess basic mechanical aptitude, understand safety and quality standards, be able to read work instructions, and demonstrate good communication and teamwork skills.
