About the Role

You will lead archaeological field programs under heritage inspection, investigation and site alteration permits, oversee research, artifact analysis and reporting, and act as a trusted advisor to clients and regulatory agencies. Business development initiatives and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams will be key to delivering integrated solutions that meet client needs and regulatory standards. • Lead and manage archaeological field programs under applicable heritage permits. • Conduct literature reviews, artifact analysis, cataloguing, and prepare high‑quality client reports. • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and regulatory agencies, representing ERM professionally. • Drive business development to expand archaeology and cultural heritage services in Western Canada. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, regulatory‑compliant solutions. • Maintain a current BC archaeological permit (or permits in other provinces/territories).

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Archaeology, Anthropology or a related field, a current BC archaeological permit, and at least four years of professional experience. Strong communication, writing and computer skills are essential, as is a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel; field directors are also considered. • Hold a Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or related field with 4+ years experience. • Possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel frequently to client sites. • Demonstrate strong communication, writing, and computer skills. • Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree and demonstrated business development experience.

Benefits
