Executive Director, Value and Risk Advisory

About the Role

This senior leadership role focuses on managing team members, optimizing workflow, and delivering superior client outcomes while completing commercial real‑estate valuation and consulting projects involving complex highest‑and‑best‑use scenarios and discounted cash‑flow models. You will originate 30 % of team volume, manage five or more individuals, and serve as the go‑to expert for your sector(s). The position provides counsel in financing, due diligence, risk analysis, financial reporting, dispute resolutions, and equity offerings, while driving local presence and business development. This role does not provide visa sponsorship; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. • Manage team members, optimize workflow, and deliver superior client outcomes • Produce client‑ready valuation reports while collaborating with VAST members for support • Inspect tier‑1 properties, engage with clients, and coach analysts during inspections • Originate 30 % of team volume and manage receivables for personally originated work • Attend leadership loops, convey messaging to the team, and represent JLL at industry events • Recruit and oversee five or more team members while coaching analysts through associate director levels • Maintain state licensing for your geographic focus and obtain temporary practice permits when needed • Sign reports and effectively manage team workflow • Continue participation in JLLU for career alignment, skill development, people management, and business development • Complete a comprehensive exam and demonstration report within 18 months of promotion, and submit an AI application • Manage analysts and senior analysts to meet educational, licensing and production goals
