What You Bring
Kimley-Horn's Nashville, Tennessee office is seeking an Experienced Electrical Engineer or Analyst with at least two years of experience to join its Zero-Emission Vehicle (ZEV) team. This is an on-site position that focuses on innovative electric and renewable projects. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, 2+ years of relevant design experience, and be EIT‑certified or able to obtain certification within six months. Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code, NFPA standards, AutoCAD proficiency (with BIM/Revit a plus), and experience with power analysis tools such as SKM or ETAP are required, along with excellent communication skills. • 2+ years design experience in building electrical, Solar PV, ZEV, or EV charging. • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; EIT certification (or obtain within 6 months). • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code, NFPA codes, and energy codes. • Proficiency in AutoCAD; BIM/Revit experience is a plus. • Power analysis expertise using SKM or ETAP; experience with lighting and fire alarm design. • Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work independently or in a team.
