About the Role
The role is part of the Energy Team, providing CAD and Revit support for engineering projects. The incumbent will work closely with project engineers to establish drawing strategies, priorities and deadlines, ensuring efficient production methods. Key duties include developing general arrangement drawings from sketches, creating coordinated building details, and producing design sketches for tender documents on small or routine work. The role also involves contributing to the coordination of engineering services across projects. All work must adhere to WSP CAD standards, using templates and library items, and the employee is expected to propose revisions to improve those standards. QA, document control, archiving and CDM guidelines are to be followed throughout. • Provide CAD/Revit design support for Energy Team engineering projects. • Define drawing strategy, types, sizing, numbering and production methods. • Develop general arrangement and coordinated building detail drawings from sketches. • Produce design sketches for tender documents on routine tasks. • Apply and improve WSP CAD standards using templates and library components. • Ensure compliance with QA, document control, archiving and CDM procedures. • Participate in process improvement, innovative projects, and team liaison activities.
