About the Role

• Perform electrical maintenance on production equipment following lockout/tagout procedures. • Verify guards and safety devices are installed and functional before equipment startup. • Monitor inventory of parts and supplies, place orders, and verify receipts. • Use manual and computerized maintenance management systems to track equipment status. • Read blueprints, manuals, and schematics to diagnose and repair machinery. • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and quality issues, escalating when needed. • Conduct breakdown repairs, preventive maintenance, and changeovers on production equipment. • Work on hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and PLCs. • Identify and report safety, quality, or operational issues that cannot be resolved independently. • Observe mechanical devices and use precision instruments to diagnose problems. • Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools. • Maintain a clean, safe work environment complying with company policies and OSHA standards. • Operate powered industrial trucks, overhead and portable cranes as required. • Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in problem‑solving activities. • Promote a culture of health and safety in line with regulatory requirements.

We seek candidates with at least five years of heavy‑manufacturing maintenance experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferably apprenticeship, journeyman, or military training. The ideal applicant is proficient with hand and power tools, precision measuring devices, and technical drawings, and possesses strong mechanical knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and PLCs, alongside effective communication and teamwork skills. • Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy manufacturing maintenance. • High school diploma or equivalent; apprenticeship, journeyman training, or military experience preferred. • Proficiency with hand/power tools, micrometers, calipers, and ability to read technical drawings. • Strong mechanical knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and PLCs. • Effective communication in English and basic math skills. • Proven troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities in a fast‑paced, safety‑focused environment. • Ability to pass job‑related testing, physical assessment, and post‑offer drug screen. • Team‑oriented mindset with collaborative, results‑driven approach. • Physical ability to lift/move up to 50 lb and perform various body movements throughout the shift.
