About the Role

The Construction Project Manager will manage assigned projects, coordinating the project team and communicating with the client while controlling scope, cost and schedule. This role supports a marquee client on several EV‑charging‑station installations, is primarily work‑from‑home, and requires 25‑50% travel within a specified region. Key responsibilities include planning, managing and coordinating all aspects of schedule, scope and cost; value‑engineering opportunities and material substitutions; preparing the Project Management plan and fee/budget proposal; translating client goals into actionable plans; collaborating with the cost‑management group on estimates and budget reconciliation; driving the permitting process with local, state and federal agencies; ensuring design management aligns with budget, scope, schedule and client standards; and producing cost and revenue projections. • Plan, manage and coordinate project schedule, scope and cost. • Identify value‑engineering opportunities and recommend material substitutions. • Prepare the Project Management plan and fee/budget proposal at project outset. • Translate client goals into actionable plans for the project team. • Collaborate with cost‑management group on estimates, cost reviews and budget reconciliation. • Lead permitting process and secure timely approvals from local, state and federal agencies. • Ensure design management aligns with budget, scope, schedule and client standards. • Produce cost and revenue projections throughout the project lifecycle. • Manage construction of complex electrical/industrial installations, such as EV charging stations. • Develop and drive action plans while monitoring scope and adjusting as needed. • Build and maintain relationships with peers, leaders and clients.

What You Bring

Required knowledge and skills encompass experience managing complex electrical or industrial construction projects, ability to travel semi‑locally, expertise in preparing Project Management plans and fee proposals, developing and driving action plans, monitoring scope and recommending adjustments, preparing cost and revenue forecasts, navigating permitting processes, and strong written and oral communication. Candidates must also demonstrate accountability, collaboration, relationship building, continuous self‑development, dependability, creativity and alignment with the organization’s core values. • Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills. • Possess 5+ years of project/engineering/construction management experience and a BS in a related field. • Preferred certifications include CCM, PMP, PE, AIA or LEED.

Benefits

Preferred qualifications include a BS in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture or a related field, at least five years of project management, engineering or construction management experience, and optional certifications such as CCM, PMP, PE, AIA or LEED. The salary range for this full‑time role is $93,000‑$124,000 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, holidays, disability coverage and an employee assistance program.
