Senior Mechanical Engineer

About the Role
• Represent the firm in interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and project team members. • Design large mechanical projects and prepare reports and specifications. • Provide consulting services, including due‑diligence reports, gap analyses, and feasibility studies. • Develop sustainable mechanical solutions and produce detailed drawings. • Oversee production of drawings to ensure compliance with client requirements and standards. • Coordinate with design team, owners, and contractors throughout project phases. • Establish design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects. • Prepare proposals and administer project contracts, including Add Service Agreements. • Conduct business development activities, participate in trade organizations, and deliver presentations. • Establish project budgets and schedules. • Participate in QA/QC processes for staff work. • Manage staff resources and perform performance reviews. • Design mechanical systems for commercial, mixed‑use, mission‑critical, life‑science, and R&D facilities.

What You Bring
The role requires a current Mechanical PE license, a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, at least eight years of consulting experience, three years of supervisory or project management experience, and strong coordination skills with architectural, structural, electrical, and telecom disciplines; LEED AP accreditation and experience with AutoCAD and Revit are highly preferred. • Hold a current PE registration as a Mechanical Engineer. • Earn a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university. • Bring a minimum of eight years’ consulting experience and at least three years of supervisory or project‑manager experience. • Hold LEED AP accreditation (highly preferred). • Demonstrate strong ability to coordinate mechanical systems with architectural, structural, electrical, and telecom disciplines, emphasizing constructability and cost. • Maintain working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
