About the Role
The Production Planner is responsible for developing, maintaining and optimizing production schedules to ensure on‑time delivery, operational efficiency and proper resource alignment in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The role coordinates cross‑functional inputs to guarantee material readiness, capacity availability and smooth execution of customer project requirements, while proactively addressing scheduling risks and driving continuous improvement. • Develop and optimize the Master Production Schedule using ERP/MRP tools. • Coordinate end‑to‑end material flow from suppliers to finished‑goods distribution. • Create detailed Engineer‑to‑Order schedules and ensure delivery commitments. • Monitor production, resolve scheduling conflicts, and adjust plans for changes. • Issue and maintain Production Job Tickets aligned with project and customer requirements. • Conduct capacity and material readiness analyses. • Manage MRP exception messages and collaborate to resolve discrepancies. • Track key performance indicators to drive productivity and cost reductions. • Ensure ISO 9001:2015 compliance through accurate recordkeeping.

What You Bring
Successful candidates typically hold a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Manufacturing, Operations or a related field, though relevant experience may substitute for education. They bring 2–3+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling or manufacturing operations, and APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is preferred. Key competencies include proficiency with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDE or Acumatica, strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, knowledge of scheduling methodologies and inventory management, effective communication for cross‑functional coordination, and excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a collaborative, proactive mindset focused on internal customers are also essential. • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field (or equivalent experience). • 2–3+ years experience in production planning or manufacturing operations. • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred. • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE, Acumatica). • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and mathematical skills. • Effective cross‑functional communication and organizational abilities. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaborative, proactive mindset.

Benefits
This full‑time, U.S.–based position offers a compensation range of $80,640 – $120,900 annually, which includes base pay and a short‑term incentive. Pay is set within the range based on performance, skills, experience and education.
