About the Role
The Installation Supervisor is accountable for profitable execution and delivery of installation services within a designated geography or specialty, acting as a technical lead and mentor to technicians. Key duties include managing the Installation P&L, ensuring project profitability, coordinating project schedules, procurement, and manpower forecasting, and maintaining strong relationships with customers, general contractors, and subcontractors. The role also involves hiring and onboarding foremen and crews, providing performance coaching, enforcing safety policies, and overseeing compliance. Collected performance metrics drive accountability. • Participate in managing the Installation P&L for a specific geography • Oversee and ensure project level profitability • Coordinate and plan installation projects, including procurement of materials, permits, and supplies • Orchestrate project schedules and forecast manpower requirements • Report on job status and performance • Ensure customer expectations are met • Develop and maintain productive relationships with customers, GCs, and subcontractors • Interview, select, hire, and onboard foremen and installation crews • Manage performance and provide training, coaching, and feedback to apprentices, journeymen, and foremen • Use metrics to drive accountability and performance • Ensure compliance with installation policies and procedures, including project tracking, safety, time and attendance • Ensure use of PPE and safe behavior, including driving, by all employees • May oversee third‑party resources

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least a high school diploma or trade certification, with a college degree considered a plus. Required experience includes five or more years in commercial construction or a related field and at least two years in a supervisory role such. The ideal applicant demonstrates strong leadership, coaching, and team‑building abilities, solid knowledge of construction principles, P&L management, safety compliance, and excellent communication and customer‑service skills. Proficiency with standard business tools such as email, Microsoft Office, work‑order/dispatch software, and ERP systems is also expected. The position operates in a clean, well‑lit, climate‑controlled office environment with minimal physical hazards. Employees regularly stand, sit, walk, talk, hear, drive, and use their hands, and may occasionally reach, stoop, or kneel. Lifting requirements are up to 10 lb frequently and up to 25 lb occasionally, with vision requirements including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment. • Resolve issues and problems effectively • High school diploma, GED, or trade program completion (college degree a plus) • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction or related industry • Knowledge of construction principles, labor hour estimation, forecasting, and multiple disciplines • 2+ years of experience as a foreman or other supervisory position • Experience hiring and managing subcontractors preferred • Strong leadership skills managing a diverse, multi‑discipline workforce • Proficient in coaching, training, developing, and building a team • Proficient in managing time, delegating assignments, and ensuring good results • Proficiency in understanding and managing P&L • Ability to manage multiple assignments, balance competing priorities, and multitask • Strong problem‑solving and judgment • Excellent verbal, non‑verbal, written communication, and presentation skills • Strong customer service skills, proactively addressing issues and building relationships • Knowledge of jobsite safety and ability to enforce safe work practices • Good driving record • Ability to follow company policies, procedures, and applicable laws • Ability to use typical business tools (email, Word, Excel, work‑order/dispatch software, ERP)
