About the Role
The Director of Sales leads division sales staffing, training, and administration, setting and communicating sales objectives and goals to achieve results. This role supports the division president and ensures alignment with corporate directives. Daily communication with New Home Consultants includes production demands, goal setting, product knowledge, and corporate updates. The director prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports, conducts sales meetings, enforces policies, and resolves issues across sales, closing, and field teams. Additional duties involve weekly community visits, realtor program development, special event coordination, and on‑call availability for the sales team. • Communicate sales production goals and product knowledge to New Home Consultants daily/weekly. • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports for the Division President. • Conduct sales meetings, phone banks, and enforce company policies. • Resolve sales and closing issues among consultants, field associates, and customers. • Visit each community weekly and develop Realtor programs as needed. • Organize and supervise special events to promote communities. • Provide on‑call support 7 days a week for the sales team. • Mentor and coach New Home Consultants, conducting performance appraisals. • Manage staffing and evaluations for Welcome Home Centers. • Collaborate with Marketing to adjust strategies based on market analysis.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, at least five years of new‑home or commission real‑estate sales experience, and two years in a managerial role. Required credentials include a real‑estate license, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance. Strong communication, organizational, computer (Word, Excel, Lotus Notes), and leadership skills are essential. • Minimum high school diploma or GED. • At least 5 years of new‑home or commission real‑estate sales experience. • Minimum 2 years in a managerial position. • Valid real‑estate license, driver’s license, and auto insurance. • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes (email). • Ability to prepare documentation and contract calculations.
