About the Role

The Senior Agile Delivery Coach position is based in Pune and requires over ten years of experience. The role focuses on driving day‑to‑day excellence of Agile teams through hands‑on coaching, mentoring and operational oversight. It also involves teaching SAFe classes, partnering with business owners and Application Delivery Leads, and developing Scrum Masters to ensure predictable, high‑quality outcomes. The coach provides daily oversight of Agile teams by attending stand‑ups, observing team flow, surfacing impediments and helping maintain a steady delivery cadence. They mentor Scrum Masters with one‑on‑one coaching, shadowing and feedback cycles, and tailor development plans to each individual. Additionally, they coach teams on execution practices such as sprint planning, refinement, demos, retrospectives and defining done. Impediments are removed and escalated effectively in collaboration with Application Delivery Leads. The coach influences without formal authority, partnering with business leaders to align priorities, foster collaboration and drive adoption of agreed practices. They also adapt SAFe principles to the company’s context, translating them into pragmatic team practices that fit existing structures. The role reports to senior leadership and collaborates with business owners, technical leads, product management, Application Delivery Leads, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, delivery team members and HR for training and development. • Attend daily stand‑ups to observe flow, surface impediments and keep delivery cadence steady. • Provide one‑on‑one coaching, shadowing and feedback to develop Scrum Masters. • Guide teams through sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, retrospectives and clear definition of done. • Collaborate with Application Delivery Leads to unblock teams and resolve impediments quickly. • Influence business leaders and stakeholders to align priorities and foster SAFe adoption without formal authority. • Translate SAFe principles into pragmatic practices that fit the organization’s structure and constraints. • Deliver SAFe workshops for Scrum Masters, Product Owners and team members, assessing learning outcomes. • Promote Azure DevOps best practices across Boards, Artifacts and Dashboards to improve tooling usage. • Track flow metrics, sprint predictability and cycle time, using data to drive continuous improvement. • Design and lead improvement experiments, capture lessons learned and eliminate process waste.

What You Bring

Required qualifications include a SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or equivalent instructor credential, proven experience tailoring SAFe to hybrid implementations, and at least ten years in Agile delivery roles, including hands‑on Scrum Master experience. Candidates must demonstrate success mentoring Scrum Masters, participation in SAFe transformations, advanced Azure DevOps skills, and strong influencing and stakeholder management abilities. Additional certifications such as CSM, PSM, CSPO or PMI‑ACP are preferred. Preferred experience includes two to four years as an SPC, AZ‑400 certification, and a background scaling Agile across large value streams with eight to ten teams. Coaching certifications such as ICAgile, as well as Lean Six Sigma training, are advantageous. Experience with mixed consultant and employee teams and knowledge of large‑scale Agile practices are also valued. Key competencies include servant leadership, high emotional intelligence and the ability to build trust quickly. The coach should practice pragmatic problem solving, balancing Agile principles with business realities, and maintain a data‑driven mindset to prioritize improvements. A persistent focus on continuous learning from both wins and failures is essential. Success is measured by observable improvements in day‑to‑day team health and sprint predictability, reduced cycle time and faster impediment resolution, and documented coaching outcomes showing Scrum Master growth and increased team autonomy. Shared lessons from SAFe executions should lead to tangible process improvements, and Azure DevOps usage should become standardized with reliable CI/CD pipelines and actionable dashboards. • Hold a SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) credential and possess at least ten years of Agile delivery experience. • Demonstrate advanced Azure DevOps skills and strong stakeholder influencing abilities.
