Project Controls Analyst - Data Center Construction
Support data center construction project controls: budgeting, forecasting, risk, reporting.

About the Role
• Provide pre‑construction support, including historical cost analysis, budget baselining, and development of annual contractor purchase orders. • Align schedule and cost for phased campus builds, addressing offsite infrastructure, roadway realignments and permitting timelines. • Manage internal project budgets and schedules of values using project management software for monthly financial reporting across multiple projects. • Oversee external project budgets via external platforms, handling commitment and change management and document control. • Facilitate change‑order routing, content analysis and obtain executive approvals. • Ensure accurate quarterly accruals for all active purchase orders, coordinating with vendors and Finance. • Lead monthly forecasting and cash‑flow analysis, identify variances and prepare executive‑level reports. • Maintain and update internal and contractor risk registers, including contingency evaluations. • Conduct monthly financial health reviews using dashboards, budget software, schedule comparisons and productivity reports. • Collaborate with site schedulers to align financial forecasts with schedule updates in Primavera P6. • Track impacts of utility planning, grid capacity constraints and long‑lead equipment delivery. • Develop scenario analyses for phasing strategies, resource constraints and risk exposure. • Partner daily with project managers, contractors, suppliers and internal teams (Analytics, Procurement, Finance). • Prepare and deliver clear presentations on project health, risks and performance to leadership. • Support programmatic initiatives, training and process alignment to drive consistency across sites. • Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying or related field. • Experience in construction project controls on large, multi‑project programs. • Proven forecasting and change‑management experience on large‑scale construction projects. • Strong communication, presentation and analytical skills; ability to convey financial and schedule status across sites. • Proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace and cost‑control tools such as eBuilder or Procore. • Ability to interpret schedules, compare baseline versus progress and link schedule impacts to cost forecasts. • Experience with data‑center or mission‑critical infrastructure construction. • Familiarity with utility‑intensive programs, grid constraints and offsite infrastructure dependencies. • Comfort working in phased, campus‑scale programs with AI‑focused infrastructure considerations.

Benefits
The position is based onsite at the client’s site in Lebanon, Indiana, with relocation assistance available and a per‑diem option if full relocation is not feasible; the analyst must be onsite at least four days per week.
