About the Role

Front of House Reception Officers represent Cushman & Wakefield and deliver genuine, personalized service to occupants and guests. They provide a warm, welcoming experience, manage challenging situations intelligently, and support the Building Manager/Facilities Manager in maintaining a legally compliant, safe, and customer‑focused environment. Key duties include greeting occupants and guests with 5‑star service, monitoring fire panels, alarms, and conducting monthly fire drills, as well as overseeing CCTV feeds and intruder alarms to promptly report security incidents. They perform routine equipment checks on defibrillators, radios, and lift alarms, conduct property patrols, and handle internal and external calls, emails, and queries professionally. Administrative responsibilities involve maintaining daily and monthly site reports, logging building faults via the Helpdesk, managing courier deliveries, and ensuring all front‑of‑house areas remain clean, tidy, and well‑presented. Officers also enforce grooming standards, sign‑in visitors, provide directions, escort occupants, assist with access barriers, and deliver concierge services such as restaurant reservations and transportation arrangements, while supporting the Building Manager/FM in their absence. • Greet occupants and guests, ensuring a friendly and efficient arrival and departure experience. • Monitor fire panels, alarms, and conduct monthly fire drills. • Observe CCTV and intruder alarms, reporting security incidents promptly. • Perform routine equipment checks (defibrillator, radios, lift alarms) and property patrols. • Answer and route internal/external calls, handle queries, and process emails professionally. • Maintain daily/monthly site reports and log building faults via the Helpdesk. • Provide concierge assistance such as restaurant reservations, transport arrangements, and dry‑cleaning services. • Enforce grooming standards and keep lobby and front‑of‑house areas clean and tidy. • Support the Building Manager/FM and act as backup during their absence.

What You Bring

The role requires prior front‑of‑house or security experience, a background in hospitality, and the ability to handle challenging situations while delivering exceptional guest service. Ideal candidates are brand ambassadors with excellent first‑impression skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to build professional relationships. They demonstrate commercial awareness, calm and friendly demeanour, multitasking ability, good IT skills, and flexible teamwork. Required qualifications include a recognised IT certificate, an SIA licence, and a CCTV licence where applicable. • Possess prior front‑of‑house or security experience and hospitality background. • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, commercial awareness, and excellent communication skills. • Hold a recognised IT certification; SIA licence required; CCTV licence if applicable.
