About the Role
The company is hiring a Department Manager to oversee its Traffic Engineering Group serving New York City and Long Island. This leader will expand the regional practice, coordinate client relationships, and ensure projects move from concept through construction. • Lead the traffic engineering group and guide regional growth • Drive business development and prepare proposals • Manage project lifecycle from conception through construction • Supervise, mentor, and assess staff performance • Provide technical oversight and ensure QA/QC standards

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (Master’s preferred) • 15+ years of traffic/transportation engineering experience • Active PE license in NY and CT (PTOE preferred) • Familiarity with NYCDOT standards, CEQR process, and local agencies • Proficiency with Synchro, HCS, and VISSIM software • Strong written and oral communication for client and public presentations

Benefits
Compensation ranges from $130,000 to $160,000 annually, with the potential for higher base pay based on experience, restricted stock units, and a full suite of medical, dental, life insurance, PTO, 401(k) and professional development benefits.
