About the Role
Additional duties include assisting tradespeople and supervisors to ensure safe project progress, keeping the department organized and clean at the end of each workday, and promptly notifying management of unsafe conditions. All work must comply with Silent‑Aire Limited Partnership safety standards, and effective verbal communication, time management, a critical eye for defects, and physical stamina are essential. • Operate Safan Accupress CNC brake press machines to fabricate parts per schematics. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. • Perform metal‑working tasks using brake, shear, saw, punch, and related equipment. • Inspect equipment, conduct routine maintenance, and report malfunctions through TPM. • Assist tradespeople and supervisors to ensure safe project progress. • Maintain a clean and organized work area at the end of each shift. • Report unsafe conditions and adhere to Silent‑Aire safety program and regulations. • Lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and perform occasional strenuous labor. • Demonstrate commitment to quality, safety, and timely completion of daily tasks.

What You Bring
The role requires the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams, program machining equipment, and operate metal‑working machinery such as brakes, shears, saws, and punches. Employees are expected to familiarize themselves with new equipment, request training when needed, and inspect and maintain machines, reporting any malfunctions through TPM procedures. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for additional education or apprenticeship programs related to metal‑working machine operation. Candidates should have experience with safe manufacturing practices from raw materials to finished product, and must complete prescreen assessments. • Minimum three years of CNC brake press experience; high school diploma preferred; apprenticeship a plus.

Benefits
Starting pay is $21+ per hour, dependent on experience, and the position operates Safan Accupress CNC brake press machines. Candidates must have a minimum of three years' experience as a CNC brake press operator and will fabricate piece parts according to schematics under the supervision of a Team Lead, Supervisor, or Senior Production Manager.
