About the Role
• Support or lead purchasing activities for project materials and equipment, from planning to delivery. • Build and manage supplier relationships, negotiating favorable terms and pricing. • Coordinate logistics to ensure timely, on‑budget delivery of materials. • Act as liaison between internal teams and suppliers, providing clear communication and updates. • Identify risks and propose solutions such as alternate sourcing or expediting. • Use ERP systems to track procurement data and monitor inventory needs. • Resolve supplier or delivery issues in collaboration with internal stakeholders. • Contribute to strategic sourcing, including RFx execution, cost analysis, and performance reviews. • Partner with project management, planning, and quality teams to align purchasing with goals. • Lead high‑value negotiations, mentor junior buyers, and influence broader sourcing strategies (Senior Buyer).

What You Bring
Qualifications vary by level: Buyer I requires 0–5 years of procurement or supply‑chain experience, Buyer II 5–10 years, and Senior Buyer 10+ years with increasing responsibility in strategic procurement and supplier management. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in supply‑chain management, business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience, and certifications such as APICS, CPP, CPIM, or CSCP are preferred. • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. • Experience with MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE, etc.). • Strong negotiation, planning, and problem‑solving abilities. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment. • Strong business acumen, organization, and decision‑making capability. • Willingness to travel up to 25% with a valid driver’s license. • Exposure to strategic sourcing with growth opportunities at all levels.
