About the Role
You will be responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on mechanical and electrical building services, ensuring high workmanship standards and reliable operation of assets. The role also requires strict adherence to JLL’s quality, health, safety and environmental procedures, as well as proactive inspection of services and safe work at height. • Carry out planned and reactive mechanical/electrical maintenance per Portfolio Supervisor instructions. • Perform full preventative maintenance and reactive works, updating tasks in the computerized maintenance system. • Maintain workmanship standards to maximize building system reliability and support specialist subcontractors. • Adhere to JLL QA, health, safety and environmental procedures and keep accurate site records. • Inspect services, respond to callouts/repairs, and work safely at height using provided PPE and tools. • Support contract success with a positive approach and complete additional tasks as requested.

What You Bring
The Multi‑skilled Maintenance Engineer (M&E) – Foot Mobile role sits within JLL Workplace Management, offering a professional home for those who want to innovate with leading businesses on landmark projects. The position is based in a mobile walking capacity covering central London zones 1‑2, with core hours Monday‑Friday 8:00 am‑5:00 pm. Candidates should have recent experience in an HVAC environment and be familiar with equipment such as air handling units, fan‑coil units, emergency lighting, fire alarm testing, lighting, plumbing and building management systems. Required qualifications include City & Guilds/NVQ in mechanical, electrical or building services plus IPAF and PASMA certifications, and good competence with Excel and MS Office. • Experience with HVAC equipment including air handling units, 4‑pipe fan coil units, emergency lighting, L8 requirements, fire alarm testing, lighting systems, plumbing, BMS, and record keeping. • Hold City & Guilds/NVQ in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services; IPAF and PASMA certifications. • Proficient in Excel and MS Office.
