About the Role
The Clutch Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling clutch components, sub‑assemblies, and full assemblies according to specification sheets, drawings, and work instructions while operating safely around both fully automated and collaborative automation cells. In this role you will direct and train assemblers in your assigned area, support Tier meetings, engineering trials, continuous‑improvement events, and act as the subject‑matter expert for all assembly stations. You will plan line flow to meet daily production targets, coordinate changeovers, provide the required tools, and escalate issues as needed, while performing minor and preventive maintenance on workstations. You must monitor and report unusual conditions, safety concerns, or defective material, adhere to all safety, quality, and company policies, and ensure that team members complete their daily standard‑work tasks within established quality and quantity standards, including occasional overtime, weekends and holidays. • Assemble clutch components, sub‑assemblies, and assemblies per specifications. • Operate safely around fully automated and collaborative automation cells. • Direct and train assemblers in the assigned area. • Support Tier meetings, engineering trials, and continuous improvement events. • Serve as expert on all assembly stations within the area. • Plan line flow, coordinate changeovers, supply tools, and escalate issues. • Perform minor and preventive maintenance on workstations. • Monitor and report safety hazards, defective material, and unusual conditions. • Ensure compliance with safety, quality procedures, and company policies. • Oversee completion of daily standard work tasks by area staff. • Work within quality and quantity standards, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

What You Bring
Qualifications include a high‑school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of clutch or transmission assembly experience, ability to lift 35 lb regularly (periodic lifts up to 30 lb), stand up to nine hours with breaks, and perform physical tasks such as twisting, bending, squatting and stooping. Candidates must reside within a 50‑mile radius of the facility unless they are active‑duty military; relocation assistance is not offered. • High School Diploma or equivalent required. • Minimum one year experience assembling clutches or transmission components. • Ability to lift 35 lb regularly, periodic lifts up to 30 lb, and stand up to 9 hours with breaks. • Physical ability to twist, bend, squat, and stoop. • Residency within 50‑mile radius of the facility (active‑duty military exempt).
