About the Role
The Opportunity – As a Senior Scheduler, Project Controls supporting our Water & Wastewater team in Calgary, Vancouver or Toronto, you will play a pivotal role in delivering safe, sustainable water systems that serve generations to come. In this role you will own the development and optimization of complex project schedules, collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify risks, constraints, and opportunities, and ensure schedule integrity throughout the project lifecycle. • Develop, maintain, and manage master schedules for engineering and construction projects. • Assess and report impacts of schedule changes and forecast new dates using scheduling tools. • Establish schedule baselines, milestones, and change‑control processes. • Create recovery plans to minimize schedule slippages. • Identify, notify, resolve, and record deviations from the planned schedule. • Maintain Work Breakdown Structure and integrate resource budgets in Primavera P6. • Standardize scheduling processes and procedures across the project portfolio. • Support bids and proposals with budget and schedule preparation. • Build scenario models and conduct schedule risk assessments. • Review delay claims, perform analysis, and assist in drafting response letters. • Conduct regular earned‑value analysis to monitor project health. • Prepare and verify accuracy of internal and external project reports. • Review project deliverables for compliance with requirements. • Interpret contract documents to identify scope‑related tasks.

What You Bring
We seek candidates with at least ten years of progressive scheduling experience in engineering or construction, a relevant diploma or degree, and expert proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project, complemented by a strong understanding of multidisciplinary interdependencies, earned value management, and a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset. • Minimum 10 years progressive scheduling experience in engineering, construction, or related sectors. • Post‑secondary diploma or degree in project management, finance, business, or related field. • Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar planning tools. • Strong grasp of multidisciplinary project interdependencies and complex sequencing. • Experience managing large, multi‑phase, multi‑stakeholder programs. • Structured, proactive, solution‑oriented approach to schedule development. • Knowledge of Earned Value Management and progress measurement. • Familiarity with Oracle ERP is an advantage.
