Warehouse Associate - 1st Shift

About the Role

The Warehouse Associate role supports efficient operations at Hubbell's distribution center, working the 2 PM – 10 PM shift for $20 per hour and offering benefits such as medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and life insurance. The associate works across all warehouse areas—including small parcels, UPS, shipping/receiving, and dock zones—performing picking, packing, loading, and unloading tasks while using material handling equipment to move inventory. Key duties include following safety guidelines, participating in team and safety meetings, maintaining cleanliness and organization through the 5S methodology, and staying flexible to handle changing tasks and overtime as needed. • Pick, pack, and stage orders using material handling equipment. • Operate reach trucks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely. • Load and unload trucks ensuring damage‑free shipments per customer specifications. • Process inbound and outbound shipments, including UPS returns and documentation. • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization using 5S methodology. • Participate in team and safety meetings and follow company policies. • Perform physical tasks such as lifting 5‑50 lb repeatedly and walking in a fast‑paced environment.

What You Bring

Candidates must be at least 18 years old, able to work eight‑hour shifts, lift 5‑50 lb, and have a high school diploma; 1‑2 years of warehousing or forklift experience and familiarity with SAP or BlueYonder are preferred. • Preferred qualifications: 1–2 years warehousing/forklift experience, high school diploma, SAP or BlueYonder knowledge.
