About the Role
The individual will perform machine setup and operate machines as needed, handling machine parts per print for customer orders across various workstations in the ABM Department while complying with ISO requirements, safety standards, and good housekeeping. • Perform setup on ABM machines, including tooling changes and adjustments to meet specifications. • Operate ABM machines by loading bar stock, filling fluids, and removing chips. • Ensure conformance with quality specifications. • Troubleshoot machines and conduct maintenance activities as needed. • Assist in training others on ABM machine operation and setup. • Track components and tools used on ABM machines (hydraulic fittings, hoses, motors, drill heads, etc.). • Coordinate with planning/scheduling to assist with machine scheduling of production orders. • Train additional setup personnel. • Operate machinery according to print specifications, shop orders, and inspection charts.

What You Bring
• Mechanically inclined; proficient with tools and machinery, able to fix both familiar and unfamiliar equipment. • Strong mathematical skills to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions for machine adjustments. • Good reasoning ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. • Proficient computer skills. • Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
