Senior BIM Technician creates and manages MEP CAD/BIM models using AutoCAD and Revit.

About the Role
• Manage project file locations, filenames, layers, and symbology according to SH Group CAD/BIM standards • Assist with CAD/BIM coordination across projects • Take initiative as a core design‑team member and add value to projects • Participate in project kick‑off meetings to understand CAD/BIM requirements • Supervise and mentor CAD/BIM technicians in creating floor plans, one‑line diagrams, and panel schedules • Evaluate workflow and propose improvements to CAD/BIM processes • Collaborate with design team and Project Manager to meet goals, deadlines, and BIM expectations • Address questions and concerns from project stakeholders • Set up new projects of all sizes, prioritize tasks, and communicate workflows to the design team • Conduct quick clash and coordination checks to promote effective coordination • Follow documentation and standards for project data tracking and assist with local training

What You Bring
• Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD and MEP tools with strong organizational and communication skills • High School diploma, trade school completion, or equivalent training • Minimum 8 years of CAD/BIM experience with an AEC firm or 3–4 years with an MEP firm • Advanced skills in the latest versions of Revit and MEP workflows • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and related MEP tools • Ability to read and interpret drawings, red marks, floor plans, sections, and elevations • Knowledge of current National CAD/BIM standards • Experience handling various file formats and at least one mechanical, electrical, or plumbing trade • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and flexible availability to meet project deadlines
