About the Role
• Perform clerical tasks and operate basic office equipment. • Answer incoming calls, provide information, forward calls, and take messages. • File and maintain written and electronic records. • Receive, sort, and log deliveries in the computer database. • Prepare daily outbound deliveries and meeting materials. • Record and update minutes for site meetings. • Procure consumable materials and office supplies. • Assist Superintendent with equipment inventory tracking and craft worker timecards. • Provide general project team support and handle day‑to‑day tasks. • Schedule, track, and log repairs and maintenance for work trucks. • Provide maps and directions to visitors, subcontractors, deliveries, and new employees. • Log applicant information into the Craft Applicant Tracking Spreadsheet.

What You Bring
Mortenson is seeking a Project Administrative Assistant who can interact with staff at all levels in a dynamic environment. The role requires flexibility, resourcefulness, proactivity, efficiency, and a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The ideal candidate will handle a wide range of administrative and executive support tasks independently or with minimal supervision. Visa sponsorship is not offered; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. This posting typically remains open for a minimum of five days, averaging 44 days. Mortenson does not accept unsolicited agency contacts without a valid agreement. • Associate’s degree in business or related field (preferred). • Minimum three years of administrative experience supporting multiple team members. • Current driver’s license and active Notary Public commission. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email, and calendar systems. • Strong knowledge of basic office equipment. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Highly organized with the ability to work independently.

Benefits
The base pay for this position ranges from $24.52 to $33.12, with higher rates for locations such as Denver, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, and Washington, D.C.
