About the Role

The Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services for customers. The role also includes ensuring the vehicle complies with the company's safety standards, adhering to all applicable state and federal regulations, and completing daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects promptly. Drivers perform thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections to verify tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order, reporting any safety issues on standard reports. They follow assigned route sheets, operate manual or automatic controls to lift, load, compact, and dispose of refuse at designated facilities, and interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers throughout the day. While on route, drivers identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers, monitor waste for unacceptable material, clean accidental spills in accordance with safety policies, and continuously keep the vehicle operational by cleaning waste from the packer blade and truck body. They complete required route, productivity, and vehicle condition reports, maintain productivity standards, follow all safety policies, and actively participate in the Company’s ReSOP program.

What You Bring

The position requires strong customer service skills, effective time management, reliable follow‑through, and adherence to company policies and safety standards, fostering a sense of pride and trustworthiness in the work performed. Minimum qualification is a Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement.
