About the Role

The role focuses on driving improvements across Safety, People, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Inventory (SQDCI). Responsibilities include preparing daily plans, leading tier meetings, maintaining the tier board, and coordinating priorities with department supervisors. The incumbent will also reallocate associates, resolve technical or process issues, cover critical tasks during staffing shortages, ensure equipment is safe and available, act as a backup supervisor, support new‑hire onboarding, attend leadership training, and collaborate with quality technicians. • Drive continuous improvement in SQDCI metrics. • Prepare and execute daily production plans prior to tier meetings. • Lead and update tier meetings and tier board information. • Coordinate priorities with department supervisors and reallocate associates as needed. • Resolve technical, process, and inventory discrepancies for employees. • Perform critical tasks to cover manpower shortages. • Ensure equipment and tools are available, maintained, and operated safely. • Act as a backup supervisor and support new‑hire onboarding. • Attend leadership training and work closely with quality technicians.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a High School Diploma or GED and have at least one year of production experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment. Additional requirements include a minimum of six months of leadership experience, the ability to work flexible hours and lift up to 35 lb (occasionally more with assistance), and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP production functions. Preference is given to individuals within a 50‑mile radius of Reno, NV (with active‑duty military exempt) and those who are bilingual in Spanish. Success in this position depends on strong written and verbal communication skills in English, the ability to work safely and independently, and the capacity to stand for extended periods and meet physical demands. The employee must be able to read and interpret technical documents, speak effectively in interpersonal settings and small groups, and utilize Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with SAP production modules and a commitment to continuous improvement are also essential. • Hold a High School Diploma/GED with ≥1 year production experience. • Possess ≥6 months leadership experience in manufacturing or logistics. • Ability to work flexible hours, stand continuously, and lift 35 lb (occasionally more). • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP production functions. • Bilingual Spanish is a plus; candidates must reside within 50 mi of Reno, NV (military exempt).
