About the Role
The portfolio includes projects directly managed by the client team or delivered by leading third‑party developers under client leadership, covering new construction, master‑planning schemes and executive fit‑out works. The role supervises delivery of PMO and project‑control services across assigned commissions, guiding implementation, reporting and stakeholder engagement, and supports team development within the centre of excellence and hub, aligning activity with Mace strategy and performance frameworks. Key responsibilities include managing Safety First, driving client‑focused outcomes, upholding integrity, mentoring teams, designing and delivering PMO frameworks, acting as a trusted advisor, steering governance and risk analysis, delivering executive‑level reports and championing innovation and net‑zero transition. • Ensure Safety First by managing well‑being, compliance and sustainable delivery. • Drive client‑focused outcomes through strategic direction, service excellence and industry engagement. • Uphold integrity and shape long‑term strategy for people, planet and performance. • Mentor and develop teams, fostering innovation and talent growth. • Design and manage PMO and project‑control frameworks across commissions. • Act as trusted advisor, building strong client relationships and providing subject‑matter expertise. • Lead governance, reporting, baseline setting, risk analysis and compliance. • Deliver executive‑level reports, presentations and briefing packs for senior leadership. • Champion innovation and net‑zero transition while supporting resourcing.

Candidates must hold chartered status or professional membership with RICS, CIOB, APM or ICE, and have proven PMO and project‑controls leadership on major programmes. Strong commercial, financial and stakeholder‑management expertise, knowledge of sustainability, risk tools and project frameworks are required; experience with cross‑entity coordination and public‑sector performance frameworks is preferred. • Hold chartered status or professional membership with RICS, CIOB, APM or ICE. • Demonstrate proven PMO and project‑controls leadership on major programmes. • Exhibit strong commercial, financial and stakeholder‑management expertise. • Possess knowledge of sustainability, risk tools and project frameworks.
