About the Role
Treating Helper primary function is to assist in the handling, manufacture, and processing of lumber and round stock. Operating power tools and equipment as directed. • Perform duties of Inspector, Machine Operator 2, and Laborer as required • Operate material handling equipment • Conduct inventory counts • Assist in loading railroad cars, trucks, and trams • Clean up yard, processing systems, or other areas as needed • Provide helper support for additional tasks as assigned • Change treatment charges; identify and inspect materials for conformance, inspect binders and cables, move and store charges • Participate in and contribute to the company safety program
