About the Role
In this position you will manage the technical asset lifecycle of electrical equipment, instrumentation and automation systems used in converting and packaging operations. Responsibilities include implementing safe engineering standards, ensuring compliance with legislative and Kimberly-Clark technical standards, maintaining accurate CMMS records, and acting as the maintenance budget holder. You will also lead small-to-mid-size engineering projects, develop automation strategies, oversee contractor safety and shutdown planning, and drive cost-saving initiatives while coaching the maintenance crew. • Manage technical asset lifecycle for electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems in converting and packaging operations. • Implement and enforce safe engineering practices and hazardous energy control standards across the site. • Ensure electrical equipment and infrastructure meet legislative and Kimberly-Clark technical standards. • Oversee Permit-to-Work compliance and effectiveness for all facility work. • Maintain accurate CMMS asset registers and keep as-built drawings and documentation up-to-date. • Act as budget holder for electrical maintenance and support CAPEX projects, handovers, and commissioning. • Design, develop and deliver small-to-mid-size engineering projects and automation strategies for converting systems. • Manage contractor safety, shutdown planning and execution, and post-shutdown review for continuous improvement. • Identify and deliver cost-saving and value-creation initiatives. • Coach and mentor crew and technicians, serving as a role model in daily activities. • Monitor site utilities performance against KPIs and drive improvements.

Employment is subject to pre-screening tests, drug screening and background checks. • HND minimum, preferably degree, in engineering. • Extensive industrial electrical engineering experience, including LV, MV, HV, PLCs, instrumentation and automation. • Proven track record implementing reliability, maintenance or TPM improvement programs. • Strong safety management and Permit-to-Work expertise. • Deep knowledge of converting assets and technologies. • Experience with LEAN or Six Sigma methodologies. • FMCG or similar industry background preferred.
