About the Role
The role involves managing multi‑site environmental projects, providing technical assistance on hazardous and solid waste management, air emissions, water and wastewater compliance, and preparing reports that assess field conditions and risks while ensuring high‑quality deliverables. Key responsibilities include delivering EHS compliance and due‑diligence support, developing procedures and permits, conducting site assessments and audits, preparing regulatory plans such as SPCC, FRPs, ERAPs and SWPPPs, and performing inspections of emissions sources, waste facilities, and storage tanks. The successful candidate will analyze environmental data, create visualizations and technical reports, develop cost estimates and proposals, manage projects within scope and budget, work with cross‑functional teams, implement Health and Safety Plans, and interact professionally with regulators, subcontractors and clients. • Provide EHS compliance and due‑diligence support, develop procedures, permits, and submit regulatory reports. • Prepare and review SPCC plans, FRPs, ERAPs, SWPPPs, Phase I assessments, and conduct EHS audits. • Inspect and investigate air emission sources, waste facilities, water treatment plants, and storage tanks for regulatory compliance. • Analyze environmental data from inspections and desktop reviews, producing accurate reports and visualizations. • Develop cost estimates and proposals, and manage projects to meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements. • Lead cross‑functional teams, implement Health and Safety Plans, and liaise with regulators, subcontractors, and clients. • Perform EHS and Process Safety Management audits, ensuring adherence to RCRA, CERCLA, NPDES, TSCA, and related regulations. • Apply engineering principles for technical calculations, plan reviews, and regulatory comparisons. • Oversee small to mid‑level projects, track hours and expenses, and maintain QA/QC standards.

What You Bring
Required qualifications are 7‑10 years of compliance‑focused environmental engineering experience, EHS and Process Safety Management auditing expertise, a bachelor’s degree in a related engineering discipline, deep knowledge of federal and state regulations (RCRA, CERCLA, NPDES, etc.), strong project management, technical writing, communication, and leadership skills, and the ability to uphold QA/QC and safety standards. • Guide junior staff, demonstrate strong communication, critical‑thinking, and safety leadership.
