About the Role

• Achieve annual sales, gross margin, and market share targets. • Lead and grow assigned territory by acquiring new accounts and nurturing existing relationships. • Call on and support customers such as mechanical contractors, engineering firms, and facility owners. • Assist customers through bid day operations, post‑sale submittals, and order entry. • Prepare take‑offs and quotes for projects. • Promote Carrier product line at trade shows, marketing events, and local educational initiatives. • Manage projects after shipment, including cash collection and accounts receivable duties.

Graduates receive hands‑on support and training at a local office and launch their careers as Carrier Sales Engineers, developing technical expertise, business acumen, and customer‑focused strategies. Core learning areas include Carrier’s values, sustainability commitment, HVAC engineering fundamentals, product and application training, sales and marketing tools, and relationship‑building techniques. Hands‑on experience is provided through collaboration with applications engineers and sales teams to design solutions, troubleshoot challenges, and engage customers. • Bachelor’s degree completed or expected by September 2026. • Valid driver’s license. • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. • Four‑year engineering degree in a related field (e.g., mechanical, electrical, aerospace). • Minimum GPA of 3.0. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Technical aptitude, creativity, and collaborative mindset. • Internship or work experience in HVAC, engineering, or sales is a plus.
