About the Role

The Mechanical Maintenance Technician role supports production by keeping equipment and facilities in optimal condition. The technician ensures reliable operation of machines, coordinates material needs, and collaborates with supervisors to address any issues that could affect production flow. • Maintain, install, and repair production and facility equipment. • Perform preventive maintenance and document the work on all production machinery. • Diagnose mechanical malfunctions, make adjustments, and execute emergency repairs to minimize downtime. • Move, anchor, and align production machines as requested. • Build equipment parts and experimental machines according to work order specifications. • Coordinate material requisitions for each project. • Observe safety rules, report hazards, and notify supervisors of equipment or operational issues. • Utilize mechanical, welding (stick and wire feed), print reading, and hand‑tool skills; operate drill presses, torches, cut‑off saws, etc.

What You Bring

• Obtain forklift and company vehicle driver’s licenses; lift up to 50 lb. • Minimum high school diploma or GED; at least one year of mechanical maintenance experience. • Prior manufacturing maintenance experience preferred. • Proficient with computers and common software applications.
