About the Role
The primary purpose of this position is to perform instrumentation‑related engineering drafting within an engineering consultancy setting. The role supports project delivery by producing accurate technical documentation and models. • Plan work, meet deadlines, and manage priorities. • Produce and manage CAD/3D/Revit model deliverables according to industry and project standards. • Review and correct drawings, ensuring compliance with drafting standards and design calculations. • Determine design parameters based on manuals and standards and prepare schematics, wiring, installation, junction‑box, as‑built, and cable‑tray drawings. • Perform cable‑tray sizing and layout, and coordinate interdisciplinary clashes to maintain clash‑free models. • Use Navis, Revit, PDMS, and AutoCAD to create 3D instrument models, extract 2D layout drawings, and generate control schemes, termination, loop diagrams, and hookup sketches. • Prepare BOMs and related documentation for instrumentation systems.
