About the Role
The specialist will oversee the creation and execution of proposals, qualifications, SF330s, and presentations for both standard and high‑priority pursuits, working closely with technical teams to ensure accurate and persuasive content. Responsibilities include developing marketing collateral such as resumes, project sheets, case studies, pursuit graphics, and award submissions, as well as writing and editing narratives, bios, and cover letters tailored to client requirements. The individual will maintain brand consistency, provide strategic marketing guidance to project teams, and drive process improvements to boost proposal quality and win rates. Required skills include proficiency with Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office, strong writing and editing abilities, and experience with CRM/database platforms such as Unanet. A portfolio demonstrating successful proposals or campaigns, involvement in industry organizations, and a strategic, problem‑solving mindset are also essential. The role demands collaboration, adaptability, excellent organizational and time‑management skills, and a continuous‑improvement orientation. • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Minimum 4 years of progressive marketing experience in the A/E/C or professional services industry. • Proficiency with Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite. • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills; ability to translate technical concepts into client‑focused narratives. • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and using CRM/database platforms (e.g., Unanet). • Portfolio demonstrating successful proposals or marketing campaigns. • Professional involvement in industry organizations (SMPS, AIA, ACEC, AGC, ULI); CPSM designation a plus. • Strategic thinking, problem‑solving, and continuous‑improvement mindset. • Collaborative, proactive, adaptable, with excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
