What You Bring
You will work with flat sheet metal (steel and aluminum) and run various machine operations including brake press, hammer flanger, buffalo roller, hand scribing, and hand shearing. A minimum of one year of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment is required. No relocation benefit is offered. Candidates must reside within a 50‑mile radius of Troy, IL, although active‑duty military members are exempt from this geographical limitation. The position requires the ability to move, position, or lift parts or boxes weighing 10–50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation. Preferred qualifications include experience reading blueprints, using calibration equipment such as calipers, SAP experience, proficiency with computer applications, strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, effective oral and written communication, multi‑tasking in a fast‑paced environment, and being self‑driven. • Minimum one year of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment. • Must reside within a 50‑mile radius of Troy, IL (exempt for active‑duty military). • Ability to lift/position parts weighing 10–50 lbs, with reasonable accommodation. • Experience with SAP and computer application systems. • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. • Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment and be self‑driven.
