About the Role
Responsibilities include managing cost from business case through to commissioning, upholding professional standards, driving performance through the AECOM technical network, cultivating client relationships and mentoring junior staff on complex projects. The role also contributes to business growth and team development within the Scotland office. • Deliver end‑to‑end cost management from project inception to commissioning. • Maintain highest professional competence and enhance AECOM’s market profile. • Drive performance standards and technical excellence via performance management and AECOM practice networks. • Build and sustain strong client relationships, promoting premium professional services. • Lead and support junior staff on technically complex projects. • Identify and influence key client stakeholders to grow workload and portfolio. • Provide clear presentations and effective communication with clients and consultants. • Apply NEC4 Professional Services Contract and Engineering & Construction Contract (Options A & C) in project delivery. • Work within integrated, multi‑organisation teams and, where possible, client‑side or seconded environments.

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least three years of cost management or quantity surveying experience on large‑scale infrastructure or defence projects, solid knowledge of NEC4 contracts (PSC, ECC Options A & C), and experience working in integrated, multi‑organisation teams. A relevant degree, MRICS accreditation (or progress towards it) and the ability to obtain Security Clearance (SC) are required. • Hold a degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent) and MRICS accreditation (or be progressing towards it). • Possess at least three years of cost management/quantity surveying experience on large infrastructure or defence projects. • Obtain or be eligible for Security Clearance (SC) level.
