About the Role

The Safety, Health, Environment and Wellbeing (SHE&W) Business Partner supports AECOM’s purpose of delivering a better world by strengthening safety culture and wellbeing across all operations. This role works closely with leaders and project teams to embed SHE&W policies, assess risks, provide expert guidance, and promote mental‑health initiatives throughout the organization. • Develop and implement SHE&W policies, strategies, and programs aligned with AECOM objectives. • Conduct risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. • Provide expert advice and support to management and employees on SHE&W matters. • Facilitate training and awareness programs to foster a safety‑first culture. • Monitor and report on SHE&W performance metrics and trends. • Engage stakeholders to promote wellbeing initiatives and support mental health in the workplace. • Collaborate with project teams to integrate SHE&W considerations into all phases of project delivery. • Partner with leaders to drive a high‑level understanding of SHE&W expectations and behaviors.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. • Minimum of 10 years of SHE&W management experience, preferably in engineering or construction. • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation. • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights. • NEBOSH or equivalent qualification (preferred).
