CDL Container Driver
Operate a CDL truck to collect and dump waste containers safely on assigned routes.
Job Highlights
About the Role
The role involves safely operating a heavy‑duty truck on designated routes, performing all assigned duties while adhering to OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards. Drivers conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report, report unsafe conditions or incidents to the Route Manager or Dispatch, and participate in required training and briefings. They collaborate with managers to improve route efficiency, dump containers, clean customer sites, position containers correctly, and complete all required paperwork and customer tickets at the end of each route. • Operate a heavy‑duty truck safely, complying with OSHA, DOT, and company standards. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and complete DVIR reports. • Report unsafe conditions, incidents, accidents, or service issues promptly. • Attend all required training sessions, briefings, and meetings. • Work with Route Managers to improve route efficiency and address unsafe accounts. • Dump containers, clean customer locations, and position containers correctly. • Submit customer tickets and complete end‑of‑route documentation. • Meet physical demands such as standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, reaching, and handling.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a valid CDL Class B (or equivalent military driving experience), be at least 21 years old, and be legally eligible to work in the United States. A high school diploma or GED is preferred. The position requires physical activities such as standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, reaching, handling, as well as sitting, talking, and hearing. • Hold a valid CDL Class B (or equivalent military driving experience) and be at least 21 years old. • Possess a high school diploma or GED (preferred).
