Job Highlights
About the Role
• Collaborate with senior staff and engineers to identify utility conflicts. • Interpret utility records, as‑built drawings, and highway design plans. • Designate existing utilities using electromagnetic and geophysical technologies. • Operate and drive a vacuum excavation truck to perform test holes. • Implement appropriate traffic maintenance and manage “One‑Call” tickets. • Coordinate survey work and supervise field crew activities. • Train junior crew members and represent the company in the field.

What You Bring
• Minimum 2 years experience with electromagnetic/geophysical designation (5 + years preferred). • Experience operating a VAC truck and maintain a clean driving record. • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and software. • Strong reading comprehension, communication, and computer skills. • Comfortable working outdoors in varied weather, walking several miles and lifting up to 80 lb. • Willingness to travel, work overtime, nights or weekends as needed. • Ability to read, write, and understand English for job communications. • Pass pre‑employment drug screening and ongoing random testing.
